September 28th and 29th were two special days in which the only event in Italy dedicated to surf girls took place, with a succession of events and emotions. The festival, organized by the Bonga surf school , saw young and old athletes from all over Sardinia, but also Tuscany and Switzerland! The bay of Porto Ferro was the setting for the seventh edition of the GSP, a contest that took place with high and powerful waves in conditions that would have put even the most expert surfers to the test. The girls and young women demonstrated lionesses' courage, physical and mental preparation, showing off all the technique acquired over the years.
Music, photo exhibitions, shows and many activities have animated the famous Sassari beach bringing hundreds of people, who arrived with enthusiasm to actively participate in the two September days. "A date that will remain in the history of the Bonga surf school. We knew from the beginning that it would be a great challenge to postpone to September an event that has always taken place in the middle of summer. So we decided to ride another wave with courage, passion, determination and always a lot of heart ! We did not expect to see the beach as crowded as in August. With the difference that they were all there for the girls' festival! We worked for months and this was the result! ".
An exceptional jury, led by Graziano Lai, a point of reference in Italian surfing, has awarded important prizes. Girl Surf Power has grown exponentially over the years thanks to the work of a passionate and prepared team and to all the people who feel they belong to a dimension that makes you feel good, where you can breathe the true essence of surfing. Fun, sharing, passion and friendship represent the values of an event that has become a real sports and cultural movement.
